Overview

The river bamboo rafting at Sok River is an activity for all ages. Exploring the Sok River on a Bamboo Raft remains an age-old tradition in Thailand, once serving as a vital link between the Chinese trading hub of Takuapa and the Surat Thani port. The Sok River is the main river that flow from Khao Sok National Park. This river is a main water supply to the local for their daily use and farming in the area. As you leisurely float along this scenic river on a traditional bamboo raft, it is an amazing way to see this drastic landscape. You'll have ample opportunity to immerse yourself in the surrounding beauty, keeping an eye out for wildlife along the riverbanks. Each raft accommodates a maximum of 2 guests, crafted by hand for surprising stability and ease of navigation. Midway through your adventure, a stop is made at a small cave where your captain will set up an open fire to prepare hot water, creating a picturesque moment for you to enjoy a refreshing coffee break amidst the scenery.
