As the boat moves deeper into Cheow Lan Lake, the landscape begins to change dramatically.
Towering limestone mountains rise from the emerald-green water, while rainforest-covered cliffs surround you on every side.
This is the landscape that has made Cheow Lan Lake one of Southern Thailand's most recognisable natural destinations.

Look up at the cliffs, watch the changing light on the water and keep your camera ready — but leave space to simply enjoy the view.

Into the Jungle
The boat brings you closer to the quieter side of the lake.
Step ashore and follow a short jungle trail through the rainforest, where tropical plants, butterflies, birds and other signs of wildlife may appear along the way.
The experience gives you a chance to see that Cheow Lan Lake is more than a beautiful body of water — it is part of the wider Khao Sok National Park ecosystem.

Cross the 500 Rai Lake
Continue the journey on a traditional bamboo raft across the tranquil waters of the 500 Rai area.
Surrounded by limestone cliffs and rainforest, the atmosphere becomes wonderfully quiet.
