500Rai Floating Resort is situated on Cheow Lan Lake within Khao Sok National Park, Surat Thani Province. It is located in a serene part of the lake, surrounded by hills and close to waterfalls, hiking trails, and caves.

Reaching 500Rai involves a journey combining different modes of transportation. First, travel by road to Cheow Lan Lake Pier (also known as Ratchaprapha Pier at Ratchaprapha Dam), followed by a 1 hour and 30-minute ride on a traditional Thai long-tail boat. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of the lake’s emerald green waters and lush natural surroundings, with stops for photo opportunities.

500 RAI FLOATING RESORT

500Rai floating resort is located in Chiew Lan Lake, a part of Khao Sok National Park,

Surat Thani Province. It sits in a tranquil area of the lake, nestled between hills and close to waterfalls, hiking trails, and caves.

To get to 500Rai, you will need to combine different modes of transportation. The first part will be by road to Chiew Lan Lake Pier (aka Ratchaprapha Pier at Ratchaprapha Dam) and the second

on a long-tail boat (a traditional Thai boat).

The long-tail boat ride to the hotel takes 1 Hour and 30 minutes. On the way, you will be introduced to the beautiful lake, emerald green water, and exuberant nature with strategic stops for photos.

FAMILY VILLA

Our most common room type boasting with conveniences to the common area such as restaurant and bar. It also offers panoramic lake view from bed.

Early Morning Boat Safari, observing the varied life of animals in Khao Sok jungle by the longtail boat in the mist of glory morning (this activity will not be operated on the rainy day.)

Back to 500 Rai Floating Resort for breakfast

Check out at the floating resort and board on Long Tail boat for a scenic boat ride and explore Khaosok national park. You can meet enchanting plants, flower, butterfly, birds, squirrels, reptiles, etc a waite for your discovery, then a short walk to 500 Rai Lake. After a walk, getting on the bamboo raft to cross the 500 rai lake to Pakarang Cave (Coral Cave). The stalagmites have a similar shape to coral which is how the cave came to be named Easy access for children but be careful for the slippery wet floor). Spend 30 minutes cave exploring (a small cave but great formations).

Lunch at floating restaurant.

Return back to the pier. Then, heading back to your hotel in Khao Sok or other locations
